In the beginning the idea for an innovative blasting system was conceived: the torbo wet blasting system.
The system was to be flexible to implement, economical in blasting abrasive consumption and easy to handle. In 1984 Josef Keizers sr. founded the company, which was taken over on the 1st of January, 1997, by the A&V Co. Ltd., whose owner and managing director is Josef Keizers jr.

Today torbo is considered, and rightly so, in over 50 countries as the epitome of state-of-the-art blasting technology – blasting technology which distinguishes itself by its universal range of application, long service life and outstanding economising features.
Growth isn’t an end in itself for us, but rather an expression of a targeted, continuous further development process and a basis for custom-made product development. In cooperation with our customers, we are continuing to develop our patented systems even further, since our success and our actions are based on the strength of our innovative capabilities.
